A 14-page executive proposal for a global vehicle and aerospace manufacturer, built to win a high-velocity, high-growth client on their own terms — matching their visual language beat-for-beat while using interactive PDF elements to pack in maximum information without adding a single extra page.

The Challenge

What Was the Problem?

A global vehicle and aerospace manufacturer known for moving fast and demanding a lot from its partners was evaluating a global travel program — the kind of proposal where a generic, one-size-fits-all pitch reads as an immediate mismatch. The client’s brand identity was distinctive and closely guarded, and a proposal that didn’t visually feel like it belonged in their world risked signaling we didn’t understand their culture, let alone their operational demands.

The content itself was dense on top of that: standardized global contract terms, duty-of-care technology, and a partnership pitch built specifically for a high-growth, high-velocity client — all of it needed to fit into something short enough to actually get read.

The Work

How I Solved It

I built the proposal around the client’s own look and feel rather than our standard template — matching their color language, typography sensibility, and photographic style closely enough that the document felt like it had been made by people who understood their brand, not just their business.

To manage the density without inflating the page count, I used interactive PDF elements — expandable sections and layered detail — so a reader got the headline on the page and could go deeper only if they chose to. That kept the proposal tight at 14 pages while still carrying everything the client needed to evaluate the partnership.

The proposal helped win the business — a global vehicle and aerospace manufacturer chose to move forward as a client based in part on a document built to speak their language before a single conversation happened. When a brand that particular about its own identity sees that level of care reflected back at them in a partnership pitch, it signals the kind of partner they’re evaluating you to be.
